We currently have an opportunity for a Security Supervisor at the Royal Adelaide Hospital.  Join our Health & Education team and play a key role in the supervision and coordination of the day-to-day Security operations, ensuring delivery of incident response and standards are in accordance with the Services Specification and approved safe work instructions. Reporting to the Security Manager, you'll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services.   You will work on a rotating roster; 1 week Days / 1 week Nights / 1 week Afternoons.   What You’ll Do This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:   * Supervise as required the Emergency Response Team, control room operators, service desk staff and patient minding co-ordination, ensuring delivery of incident response and standards in accordance with the Services Specification and approved safe work instructions. * Work with key stakeholders to review incidents, identify risk, educate and communicate relevant safety awareness information and support an environment that is friendly, safe and secure. * Deliver a high quality service in line with set objectives. Monitor and review the standards of service to achieve optimal outcomes. * Ensure that staff transition effectively into their roles following induction training and foster individual learning needs. * Manage an administrative portfolio and the operational workforce planning requirements for the Security Team, including the provision of accurate, timely and complete reporting in accordance with policy and procedures.   What You’ll Bring * Minimum Certificate II in Security * Current SA Security Licence, WWCC and First Aid Certificate with CPR * Solid experience working as a Security professional, preferably in a Healthcare setting * Sound knowledge of security alarm and management systems, including access/egress CCTV and building automation and across management systems within a control room setting.  * Comprehensive computer skills in programs including but not limited to Security Management Systems, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint   More than anything, you’ll bring a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes for our clients.   Why Downer?
