Description
Windwalker Supervisor: Windwalker seeks a Supervisor to join our operation and help the team in a support role. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and manage security staff on duty, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures. Conduct regular patrols of campus buildings and grounds to monitor for safety hazards, unauthorized activity, or safety violations. Respond promptly to incidents and emergencies, providing direction and guidance to security personnel as needed. Monitor surveillance equipment and alarms, reporting any suspicious activity or security breaches. Provide support in the coordination of emergency response efforts, including medical emergencies, fire drills, and other urgent situations. Assist with training new security staff and conducting performance evaluations. Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of security activities. Collaborate with campus administration and local law enforcement as necessary. Enforce campus regulations and policies to maintain a safe and secure environment. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field (supervisory experience preferred). Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Ability to make quick decisions and act effectively in emergency situations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Familiarity with security equipment (e.g., surveillance cameras, alarm systems). Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Valid security guard license (required). CPR/First Aid certification (preferred but not required). REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or GED required Must be at least 18 years old Ability to pass a background check Ability to react quickly to a changing environment Advanced ability to respond to security breaches and threats. Comfortable kneeling, carrying, bending, walking, and standing for extended periods of time Ability to inform personnel and visitors of security procedures Excellent interpersonal, written, and communication skills Possess an ability to be flexible and perform a variety of security duties
