This is an Hourly position. Overview POSITION SUMMARY: The Environmental Services Supervisor is responsible for the direct oversight of Environmental Services (EVS) personnel, and for the operation and coordination of department functions. This role actively collaborates with leadership as it relates to recruitment, onboarding, training, development, and performance management of the EVS Mission Partners. In addition to oversight of personnel, this position is responsible for effectively complying with regulatory standards, financial analysis of department operation and collaboration with leadership team members to support the department in its daily function. Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: High School Diploma/GED or must obtain within 2 years of hire A high school diploma is required for individuals hired into this role after October 1, 2025. Employees who held this position prior to that date are exempt from this requirement based on the qualifications in effect at the time of their hire. Experience: 2 years' experience in healthcare environmental services. Other Skills/ Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience: Prior supervisory experience Licensure/ Certification: Trainer-Certified Healthcare Environmental Service Technician (T-CHEST), Certified Healthcare Environmental Technician (CHEST) certification or Certified Surgical Cleaning Technician (CSCT) certification OSF HealthCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
