Description
Location: Colorado Pay: $30.62 Job Summary:  The ESOC Supervisor is a key leadership role within the Enterprise Security Operations Center (ESOC), responsible for managing the overall flow of operations, incident management, and communication during their assigned shift. This role serves as the central point of accountability and control for all workstreams performed on the ESOC monitoring floor and ensures seamless communication between the ESOC, regional business units, and security leadership. The Supervisor acts as the authoritative voice of the ESOC, coordinating with leadership to prioritize critical incidents and driving timely, effective responses to security events.   Roles & Responsibilities:    40% Incident Assimilation and Management: * Oversee the identification, assessment, and response to security incidents occurring within the ESOC. * Determine the priority and severity of incidents in coordination with NSE (Network Security Executive) leadership. * Ensure incidents are appropriately escalated and managed in accordance with established workflows and protocols. 20% Operational Oversight and Coordination: * Serve as the primary decision-maker on the ESOC floor during each shift, providing real-time leadership and guidance to monitoring and incident response teams. * Coordinate multiple workstreams to ensure efficient monitoring and response processes. * Ensure operational continuity and effective handoffs between shifts. * Maintain subject matter expertise on all technological and operational tools that empower and support the ESOC environment 10% Communication & Notifications: * Act as the official voice of the ESOC to facilities and company leaders. * Utilize notification workflows to disseminate timely and accurate alerts, advisories, and intelligence updates to regional business and security stakeholders. * Maintain high-quality communication standards to ensure clarity and consistency in all notifications and reports. 10% System Operations & Maintenance: * Ensure continuous operation of security systems by identifying and reporting any technical issues to the appropriate support teams. * Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all security systems and related technologies. 10% Collaboration with Stakeholders: * Partner with regional business units, security teams, and leadership to provide situational awareness and actionable intelligence. * Support stakeholder decision-making by providing accurate and relevant information on incidents and emerging threats. * Apply best practices and lessons learned to establish and maintain a reliable communication cadence and protocol between the ESOC and the key stakeholders that the Center supports 5% Leadership and Team Development: * Supervise and mentor ESOC operators, providing training, feedback, and performance management. * Foster a culture of continuous 5% Policy and Compliance Adherence: * Ensure all ESOC activities comply with organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. * Monitor team performance to maintain adherence to service-level agreements (SLAs) and operational standards. * Assist with conducting quality control audits and inspections that may include daily, weekly and/or monthly reports. Assist with assessing call and/or alarm volume to determine areas of opportunity. * Maintain the confidentiality and security sensitive information, including Protected Health Information (PHI). Education: Minimum: Bachelors Degree Preferred: Masters Degree Qualifications Experience   Minimum:  5 years of relevant professional experience. Demonstrated supervisory experience overseeing security command and control environments. Preferred: Previous dispatcher, SOC, GSOC or relevant help desk experience in a high-volume call center. Law Enforcement experience. Graduate of Police/Corrections academy.   Licenses: Ability to pass any State-required training or other qualifications for licensing.
