OVERVIEW:

The Lounge & Terrace at The Grovefield House Hotel is looking for an energetic and guest-focused Restaurant Supervisor to help oversee the smooth running of our stylish dining space. This role is perfect for someone with a strong hospitality background, a hands-on approach, and the drive to lead a team in delivering outstanding service.

• Supervise and coordinate daily front-of-house operations.
• Lead, motivate, and support team members to achieve service excellence.
• Maintain high standards of presentation and guest satisfaction throughout service.
• Assist in onboarding, training, and mentoring staff.
• Manage shift schedules, task allocation, and service flow.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest queries or concerns.
• Ensure adherence to health & safety, food hygiene, and licensing regulations.
• Assist with inventory management, ordering, and supplier coordination.
• Monitor and operate POS systems accurately, including cash handling.
