SUPERVISOR(S) – GEOLOGY

• We are hiring 2 Site based Supervisor Geologists based in Winu – reporting to Superintendent of Resource Geology

Reporting to the Superintendent Resource Geology – Winu – you will deliver best practice outcomes for RTC’s field programmes. You will utilise your technical and operational experience to safely assist in multi-faceted programmes, develop and mentor junior geologists and play a key role in service provider contract management. In particular:

• Assist with the design and execution of multi-disciplinary drill programmes and other exploration and evaluation activities for the risk management of resources and reserves. This will include grade, metallurgical, geotechnical, environmental and hydrogeological activities.
• Encourage teamwork and communication within Resource Development and external teams.
• Oversee accurate collection of downhole geophysical data to support geological interpretation.
• Ensure compliance to all standards and procedures relating to data collection and field work.
• Demonstrate active leadership in the field
• Develop capability in GIS mapping, 3D-modelling and geophysical interpretation.
• Provide leadership and support for contractor management through regular reviews and feedback.
• Support the Senior Geologist directly through both reporting and step-up opportunities
