SUPERVISOR

As a result of Georgiou’s significant growth, we are seeking an experienced Supervisor to join our growing project based civil construction business. Working closely with the other supervisors and superintendents, you will be responsible for ensuring the days planned operational activities are completed in a safe and timely manner. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join a busy, dynamic and rewarding environment.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor part of a project to ensure your section or package of work is delivered on time and budget, within quality standards
  • Liaise with subcontractor supervisors on works in progress
  • Manage works in accordance with the Project Management Plan
  • Have a strong focus on personal and team safety through our “Safety is My Way” initiative
  • Ensure your team is fully skilled and has the required resources to meet productivity targets
  • Drive productivity and manage the performance of your team and subcontractors
  • Lead and coordinate, labour, plant, materials and subcontractors daily
  • Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders including Senior Management, Clients and Government Authorities
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members
  • Conduct and participate in site meetings (toolboxes, pre-start, inductions and other health and safety requirements)
