Why does the job exist?
This position will coordinate quality and performance management function within an adolescent treatment facility including compliance assessments, performance reports, prevention activities, policy review/development, and database management. Incumbent will facilitate compliance with federal, state, and accreditation regulatory requirements. This position oversees Medical Records, Safety, and Investigations/Incident Management.
How does it get done?
Through the comprehensive ongoing system of monitoring measurable performance indicators; evaluation of results relative to established goals and benchmarks; actively promote improvement. This position will ensure the facility’s compliance to maintain accreditation, licensure, and necessary certification.
Who are the customers?
Department of Health, SATC is an Adolescent Treatment Center serving the needs of male adolescents, ages 13-17 with a history of violence and/or aggression who have been diagnosed with a mental disability.

Minimum Qualification
Associate degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Statistics, Finance, or a related field and three (3) years of experience with a public assistance program, medical, healthcare, educational, or state facility working with policies and procedures, conducting analysis/research, providing or requesting information from the general public, working with communities, working on health or social service related matters, social work/case management, behavioral health, and/or health care. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling five (5) years may substitute for the required education and experience.
Employment Requirements
Must possess and maintain a valid Driver’s License. Pre-employment background investigation is required and is conditional pending results.
Working Conditions
Work is performed in an office setting with exposure to Visual/Video Display Terminal (VDT) and extensive personal computer and phone usage.
