Why does the job exist?
Incumbent will supervise the transactions/classifications, compensation, position control, applications/recruitment, information/file maintenance and perform multi-facet HR functions for the facility providing support to Administration.
How does it get done?
Incumbent will be responsible for administering complex rules, regulations, federal and state laws providing guidance, direction and technical assistance to HR staff, NMBHI management and staff on HR issues regarding actions surrounding recruitment, classification, compensation, and position control.

Current, former and potential employees as well as other State Agency personnel.

Minimum Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree in any related field and four (4) years of experience in training, staff development, designing courses, producing instructional aides/materials, human resource operations, recruitment, selection, payroll, compensation, and benefits administration and/or occupational analysis. Two (2) years of supervisory experience as it pertains to the essential duties and responsibilities of this classification. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling eight (8) years, to include two (2) years of supervisory experience, may substitute for the required education and experience.
Employment Requirements
Must possess and maintain a valid Driver’s License.
Working Conditions
Office setting. Sitting for long periods of time viewing computer monitor. Repetitive hand movement. Standing, walking, lifting up to 20 lbs. Use of computer, copier and telephone.
