JOB DESCRIPTION

• Supervise off-site non-exempt stockroom personnel and establishes work priorities for operation.
• Will be responsible for OTJ training, professional development and advancement of assigned stockroom personnel
• Will conduct individual performance reviews.
• Will assist in establishing both team and individual goals.
• Responsible for all personal activity related to human resources to include mentoring, hiring and disciplinary actions.
• Will monitor labor and approve overtime.
• Will use data and metrics to drive KPI performance.
• Will drive process improvements.
• Enforce company policies including safety & security.
• Execute unplanned changes to strategy.
• Will need to respond to customer requirements in a timely manner.
• Monitor employee trainings to ensure they are up to date.
• Prepare teams and support audits for customers, internal and external, DCMA, DCAA, and Financial
• Regularly travel to off-site stockrooms to provide support

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS

• Previous leadership experience in a professional manufacturing or warehouse setting
• Ability to connect with people of diverse backgrounds, and experiences
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills
• Ability to respond quickly to a dynamic work environment
• Excellent customer service skills
• Knows and embraces a lead by example philosophy
• Passionate developer of talent
• Can recruit and higher high caliber performers
• Understands or is willing to learn, lean manufacturing principles
• Microsoft office suite savvy
• Ability to analyze data and use it to make informed decisions and improvements

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS

• Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning ERP (Oracle) software systems
• Lean manufacturing certification
• Must be a US citizen and be capable of obtaining/maintaining a security clearance
