POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Supervisor, Institutional and Pension Accounting, supervises a team of specialists who provide products and services to corporate and institutional clients.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • University degree
  • 3-5 years progressive experience
  • Leadership ability
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Good time management, organizational and analytical skills
Responsibilities
  • Helps develop and maintain account administration standards, procedures and controls in order to improve efficiency and reliability of the team.
  • Liaises with internal and external clients and builds client relationships by responding to inquiries and resolving client issues.
  • Completes performance reviews and sets team objectives with the help of the manager in order to provide leadership, maintain good morale and foster teamwork.
  • Supervises the activities of a group of specialist to ensure accurate and timely delivery of products and services to a select number of corporate and institutional clients and coordinate and to assign workload and schedule tasks.
  • Authorizes cheques, wires and foreign exchange requests so that specialists can administer accounts.
  • Monitors activity in client accounts to ensure adherence to legislation and contractual agreements.
