The Inventory Control Supervisor oversees all inventory-related activities to ensure accurate stock levels, efficient material flow, and compliance with regulatory standards in a personal care manufacturing facility. This role leads a team of inventory specialists and warehouse staff, coordinates with production and procurement, and implements best practices to optimize inventory accuracy and availability.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred.
3–5 years of inventory control experience, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
Experience in personal care, cosmetics, or pharmaceutical manufacturing is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of inventory systems and ERP software.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Familiarity with GMP, FDA, and other regulatory standards.
Ability to analyze data and implement process improvements.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Frequent walking, standing, and bending in warehouse and production areas.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

Supervise daily inventory operations, including receiving, storing, and issuing raw materials, packaging, and finished goods.
Lead and train inventory control staff, ensuring adherence to SOPs and safety protocols.
Develop and enforce inventory control procedures to maintain accuracy and minimize shrinkage.
Conduct regular cycle counts and full physical inventories; analyze and resolve variances.
Collaborate with production, procurement, and quality teams to ensure timely material availability.
Maintain accurate records in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Oracle).
Monitor inventory KPIs and generate reports for senior management.
Ensure compliance with GMP, FDA, and other regulatory requirements.
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory management and warehouse efficiency.
Coordinate with logistics and shipping teams to manage outbound inventory and returns.
