Description

The person in this position is accountable for managing the day-to-day operations of the Information Technology (IT) Department, working with senior IT management to ensure the availability of the IT infrastructure. This person will provide development, planning, technical leadership, project management, documentation, and implementation resources for the IT department. They will also work with senior IT management to research and develop emerging technologies that benefit the business.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s Degree required a nd a minimum of five years related experience as a supervisor in a manufacturing environment. Demonstrated technical experience and skill required in the following applications: Virtualization Technologies (VMWare and hyper-V), Microsoft ( Active Directory, Azure, Exchange, Windows 10 and 11, Server 2019 through 2025, Office applications, M365, and SQL Server ), Storage (Pure, Qumulo, Nexsan, and Synology), Networking devices(Cisco, FortiGate, and Meraki), Applications (Secureworks, Qualys, KnowBe4, Netdisco, IPAM, daloRADIUS, Zabbix, Grafana, InfluxDB, Postgres, and Graylog) Ability to conduct cost/benefit analysis (ROI, TCO).

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and manufacturing instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees. Must be able to effectively communicate and interact with all levels of management.
