POSITION OVERVIEW

The Logistics Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the procurement, distribution, and inventory management of educational and IT-related resources. This role ensures that schools, classrooms, and administrative offices receive the necessary supplies, equipment, and technology to support academic and operational needs efficiently. The position involves coordinating logistics activities, managing vendor relationships, and optimizing supply chain processes to support a seamless learning environment.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years of supervisor experience in a related field.
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse procedures.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (certification preferred).
  • Familiarity with safety and compliance regulations related to warehouse operations.

EDUCATION & CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
  • A bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities
  • One Number: 100% Issuance and Retention of Company-Issued Devices
  • Manage acquisition, storage, and distribution of educational materials, IT assets, and supplies.
  • Implement inventory control for accurate resource tracking.
  • Collaborate on supply needs and future planning.
  • Manage vendors, contracts, and timely deliveries.
  • Coordinate logistics (transport, warehouse, deployment).
  • Ensure compliance and security.
  • Supervise logistics staff.
  • Partner with IT for equipment setup/decommissioning.
  • Maintain inventory, procurement, and logistics documentation/reporting.
  • Develop and manage a new inventory system.
  • Plan daily warehouse productivity and team schedules.
  • Oversee inventory tracking and forecasting.
  • Create demand, inventory, and work forecast models.
  • Handle purchasing (Chromebooks, supplies, etc.).
  • Drive process design and efficiency.
  • Coordinate warehouse maintenance and computer testing logistics (including software research and testing).
  • Other duties as assigned.
