IT’SUGAR is looking for a fun and dynamic Retail Supervisor to join our team. As a Retail Supervisor, you will be the premier “SUGARTAINER” in charge of delivering a SWEET customer experience while promoting our brand. This position is a steppingstone towards a management role within IT’SUGAR. The Supervisor will be a shift leader in charge of overseeing all store functions and team members. What you’ll do? IT’S Exciting! Laugh out loud, dance to the music, and provide a humorous escape to our customers while you Act as a Leader on Duty: * Oversees the daily operation of the store and ensures that sales objectives are met. * Evaluates daily operations on an ongoing basis and makes recommendations/initiates action to enhance productivity, efficiency, effectiveness, and profitability. * Fosters a productive work environment through consistent coaching and training of Sales Associates. * Demonstrates a positive, enthusiastic and brand proud attitude. * Promotes safety for both our customers and associates by adhering to company guidelines. * Partners with store manager to identify ongoing challenges and present solutions. Deliver Exceptional Customer Service: * Follow our customer engagement model SUGARTAINMENT by setting the stage, welcoming, engaging, entertaining and thanking the customer. * Assist customers with requests and inquiries. * Ensure salesfloor is clean and organized while maintaining store visual standards. * Operate POS/ register to properly cash out all customers. Achieve Sales Goals: * Follows through on customer requests for specific items and suggests additional products. * Use selling skills by explaining benefits, features, prices, quality, value, and other product information. Support Store Operations * Maintains store cash handling records, reports, and opening and closing procedures. * Ensures visual standards are appropriate and support the brand image. * Merchandises displays to visual guidelines. * Plan, coordinate, and set up special events and promotions. * Maintain communication with associates regarding product recommendations to increase sales/inventory. * Understands all Loss Prevention (LP) policies and procedures and communicates LP issues with the Store Manager. * Operational Responsibilities include, but are not limited to salesfloor/backroom/restroom maintenance, cleaning, mopping, etc. Embody our Core Values: * Represent our core values: IT’S being Positive, Playful, Present and a Difference Maker. * Display enthusiasm and cheerfulness while working collaboratively in a team environment. What you need to join the fun: * Must be 18 years of age or older. * Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred. * Years of Experience: 2 years of retail experience and at least 1 year of supervisor experience preferred. * Willing to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. * Able and willing to work 32-40 hours a week. * Must be able to use a POS/cash register. * Able to stand and walk for long periods of time; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. * Able to independently lift/move up to 25 lbs.
