REQUIREMENTS

  • You possess MBO work and thinking level (in mechanical engineering or a comparable field). You can read drawings, work proactively, are stress-resistant, and have a service-oriented attitude.
  • You have good communication skills and written proficiency in both Dutch and English. Additionally, you have knowledge of Microsoft Office and hold a VCA VOL diploma.
Responsibilities

As an Supervisor within the J. de Jonge Group, you will be (co-)responsible for the execution of projects. You will report to the project leader.
You will work closely with them to create a personnel schedule, assign tasks to various employees, and consider their knowledge and qualifications. Maintaining good contact and open communication with the client is crucial to your contribution to the project’s realization and completion in accordance with the agreed assignment—all within budget and schedule.
Additionally, you will be (co-)responsible for organizing and conducting toolbox meetings and performing site inspections. You will adhere to all applicable house and safety regulations, ensuring that you and others correctly utilize all prescribed personal protective equipment (PPE).
You will be familiar with the safety and quality plan and work in accordance with its stipulations. Safety is always a top priority for us!

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring project progress and reporting on it.
  • Supervising employees assigned to the project.
  • Taking responsibility for the quality of the work.
  • Managing the planning and progress of the tasks and distributing them among employees, including both internal staff and hired personnel.
  • Overseeing the work performed by third parties.
  • Ensuring compliance with working hours.
  • Identifying and reporting additional or reduced work.
  • Assessing delivered materials and monitoring the quality of the work.
  • Being (co-)responsible for ensuring that work is carried out safely, healthily, and environmentally friendly according to applicable regulations.
  • Independently preparing ISO documents and processing changes on-site (as-built).
  • Drafting work permits and Task Risk Analyses (TRAs).
