JOB TITLE: Supervisor, Janitor LOCATION: SPI Santiago Working Model: On site GENERAL DESCRIPTION OR PURPOSE OF JOB: Maintain cleanliness in all areas related to the company (offices, plants, dining rooms, ramps), according to the assignments of the Maintenance Supervisor, helping to guarantee a clean and safe work environment. Provides help and assist in all the activities related to the department. RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * Supervise Cleaning Staff. Planning, scheduling, organizing and directing work of direct reports * Develop of cleaning routines and ensure execution * Perform periodical inspections to ensure quality of cleaning * Coordinate rooms accommodations, including refreshments when applicable, when receiving clients or visitors and other employee’s services * Perform periodically analysis of products consumption and related materials for cleaning and provide feedback of measures to perform, ensuring cost efficiency and enough coverage for employees depending of employees headcount * Ask the Purchasing and control inventory needs for the department cleaning supplies SPECIFIC TASKS: * Planning, scheduling, organizing, and directing the work of direct reports. * Assist in the recruitment for the department. * Monitor breaks, lateness, and absenteeism. * Develop staff routines and ensure execution. * completed properly. * Perform periodical inspections to ensure all corresponding forms and checklists of processes are being followed * Analyze service efficiency periodically and develop strategies for improvement. * Oversee an inventory of protection supplies for employees and provide feedback when a purchase is required. SUPERVISION OF OTHERS: * 8-12 Janitors JOB REQUIREMENTS/SPECIFICATIONS: Note that (i) computer literacy and working-level skill with the basic MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Explorer), (ii) good verbal and written communication skills, (iii) good interpersonal skills, and (iv) the ability to work well both individually and in a team environment are default requirements for all Jostens exempt and salaried nonexempt employees.
