Job Details Job Location: JNCS San Jose - San Jose, CA 95128 Position Type: Full Time Salary Range: $68,640.00 - $69,000.00 Salary Job Shift: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm Job Description – Supervisor We are looking for a Supervisor to join our San Jose Management Team to provide supervision, assistance, and support to assigned staff and clients with autism and developmental disabilities. The ideal candidate will be able to run effective meetings, guide staff through their work, and stay on top of their assigned caseload. Work Experience Essential Responsibilities: • Ensure the provision of quality support services to individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities (clients) to achieve a better quality of life within the community in which he or she lives. • Develop and implement personalized support plans with supported individuals, their family members, and their staff. • Provide back-up hands-on support, as needed. • Manage teams (circles) of staff members who support individuals with disabilities (20 plus staff), including case management & documentation. • Support for ILS/SLS/SD/Tailor Day Services. • Organize circle of support meetings once a month. • Establish & maintain relationships between staff and persons they support. • Track & manage hours and dollars attached to each individual we support. • Locate activities, employment (paid or unpaid) opportunities, as well as other places and/or areas of interest for individuals being supported. • Occasional travel via car or plane will be required. • Communicate with on a regular basis with social services agencies (IHSS, HUD & Regional Center) • Responsible for ensuring that staff schedules are maintained at all times to meet the support needs of the consumer (clients of Jay Nolan Community Services). • Complete and submit all documentation as required per company policies and procedures and funding source requirements. • Comply with all policies and procedures of the organization. • Other responsibilities as assigned. • Support the expansion of services and access available to staff and clients. Qualifications: • 2 years of experience working with people with Autism or other developmental disabilities. - 1-year related experience in a supervisory and/or management role. • ABA / Bachelor' degree in a related Human Service field is preferred • Excellent communication skills (verbally and written) are required. • Must be able to multitask, be organized, & think outside the box. • Ability to understand & manage budgets, plus read a financial statement. • Computer literacy in all the software programs is essential. • You will be a team player with the ability to interact effectively at all levels & across diverse cultures. •Experience with Regional Centers and their services is not required but preferred. • Valid Driver's License, current auto insurance, reliable transportation, and smart phone are required. • Must pass a background check.
