JOB SUMMARY

The Restaurant Supervisor is responsible for managing and coordinating the activities of the restaurant staff to ensure efficient and effective service delivery. This role involves supervising front-of-house operations, including guest service, staff management, and operational procedures. You will ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, manages inventory and supplies, and addresses customer complaints and feedback.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in restaurant, or hospitality positions
  • Diploma or Degree in any field
  • Good knowledge of restaurant operation and high-end service levels.
  • Have good English communication skills both in written and spoken.
  • Computer literate.
  • Pleasant personality with good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A friendly and warm personality and a love of working with children and families

Responsibilities
  • Reports to the Restaurant Operations Manager.
  • Maintain communication with/supports the Restaurant Operations Manager and the Club General Manager.
  • Manage guest online reservations and queries
  • Check table setting, chairs, floors, proper maintenance, cleanliness and safety.
  • Take immediate action to resolve all complaints and issues.
  • Manage the guest reservation system alongside staffs.
  • Receive and greet guests followed by seating them accordingly.
  • Adhere and enforce all restaurant rules, regulations and policies.
  • In the absence of the Restaurant Operations Manager and the Club General Manager, he/she may serve as Manager on duty and handles opening or closing procedures.
  • Conduct daily line-up with staff for briefing and debriefing.
  • Supervises staff and maintain uniform and service standards.
  • Ensure side work is completed every day and supplies are stocked.
  • Review daily specials, stations and other applicable announcements.
  • Train new-hires in service standards, menu items, use of POS system and up-selling.
  • Lead and motivate team to higher sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Review daily and weekly events with the Restaurant Operations Manager.
