Description

1. Summary of Position: The Supervisor manages the Kitting Logistics Team daily. This position is responsible for all production line material feeding according to the Production schedule. Its role includes coordination with leadership in other organizations, ensuring all materials coming from the Warehouse are kitted and delivered to each aircraft station according to the Daily Planning schedule. The Supervisor of Kitting Logistics is responsible to maintain materials by aircraft in the intermediate logistic area, to oversee final kitting preparation (material, hardware and work instructions) and to ensure delivery of material kits on time to the Shop Floor. Coordinate induction of segments according to the production schedule, as well as the de-paneling process and management of the aircrafts MIR items, panels or otherwise. 2. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Duties and Responsibilities: % of Time 1. Supervise and provide guidance to Kiting Team (All lines) 40% 2. Coordinate parts issuance process from warehouse to intermediate area 20% 3. Maintains all materials in the intermediate logistic area 15% 4. Coordination with Production Line Management to deliver urgent materials to the shop floor 10% 5. Coordinate the induction of segments in line with the production schedule 10% 6. Assist with creation of and maintenance of logistics procedures and KPIs 5% TOTAL: 100% 3. Qualifications for Position: A: Education Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field, or combination of experience will be considered in lieu of degree B: Experience 3-5 years Operations (production, scheduling, warehouse, materials management, production control) experience 4. Competencies & Attributes 1. Microsoft Excel and Power point 2. SAP 3. Problem Solving and analysis 4. Strong communication and presentation skills 5. 6. D. Licensure/Certification
