About you
As our Supervisor Liaison Officer, you’ll have excellent communication skills, have a good knowledge of relevant GP training standards and training policies and procedures. To thrive in this role, you’ll have:
Strong communication and advocacy skills
passion for assisting registrars and GP training
Good working knowledge of requirements for the AGPT program
qualifications as a registered general practitioner
About the opportunity
Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, you’ll collaborate with regional and local teams, the Practice Manager Liaison Officer and the Registrar Liaison Officer as well as with management to carry out GP training. In addition, you’ll:
advocate for the individual and collective needs of GP supervisors participating in the RACGP training programs.
Support supervisors within the training program providing guidance and direction as an experienced peer.
liaise with and maintain ongoing relationships with the supervisor industry body, General Practice Supervisors Australia.
work with management to inform quality improvements relevant to the practice environment.
