Job Details: SUMMARY: As a Supervisor Live Haul, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the efficient and safe transportation of live broilers to the processing plant. Your role will encompass a wide range of responsibilities, from scheduling and monitoring to promoting safety and ensuring smooth operations. Key Responsibilities Scheduling and Monitoring Schedule the catching, loading, and hauling of live broilers to the processing plant. Monitor DOAs (Dead on Arrival) to ensure the health and safety of the broilers during transport. Safety Promotion Promote safety and ensure a safe working environment for all personnel involved in live haul operations. Monitor drivers' time and ELD logs to ensure compliance with regulations. Driver and Catcher Coordination Review and coach Drive Cam videos to improve driver performance. Ensure drivers and catchers arrive on time at the farm and plant. Collaboration and Supervision Work with catch contractors, Live Haul Manager, and driver supervisor to ensure operations run smoothly. Make necessary changes to the catch and haul schedule to optimize efficiency. Equipment Maintenance Supervise and assist personnel in the repair of cages to maintain equipment functionality. Additional Responsibilities Perform other responsibilities as the need arises to support live haul operations. REQUIREMENTS: Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Experience: 3 plus years experience in live haul or equivalent Class A CDL preferred welding experience preferred. Computer Skills: Requires basic computer skills sending and answering emails building and changing spreadsheets. Supervisory: This position is responsible for supervising a group of personnel who perform somewhat identical and related tasks or activities.
