Job Summary Serve as a key representative for warehouse/stockroom, receiving, and logistics operations, participating in all relevant meetings and coordinating with internal stakeholders to ensure the efficient flow of raw materials, fabricated components, and finished goods. Oversee the execution of all shipping, warehouse, and logistics activities while applying critical thinking and root-cause analysis to drive sustainable solutions. Act as the hands-on subject matter expert for domestic and international import/export regulatory compliance. Identify and mitigate quality control issues within the shipping function. Collaborate with Stolle Machinery Co. leadership to resolve issues impacting operational performance.  Principal Accountabilities Training & Compliance * Develop and maintain a scheduled training program for department personnel. * Provide updates to warehouse/stockroom, logistics, and other relevant stakeholders. * Attend required state, federal, and international compliance training related to import/export regulations. * Train assigned subordinates to ensure efficient, effective, and compliant warehouse and logistics operations. * Recommend policies and procedures to maintain compliance. * Respond to inquiries regarding compliance requirements, policies, and execution. Process Improvement * Coordinate communication across teams to ensure customer-driven shipping and delivery priorities are met. * Continuously evaluate warehouse and logistics processes and apply 5S best practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness. * Ensure accuracy of all logistics and shipping documentation. * Participate in ISO-related activities as required. Safety & Personnel Administration * Promote and ensure personnel safety through training and monthly safety meetings. * Secure internal and external resources to enhance safety programs. * Approve time, attendance, and exception reporting for assigned staff. * Partner with Human Resources to support employee relations within a union environment, (where applicable). * Conduct candidate interviews and participate in panel hiring processes as appropriate. Additional duties may be assigned.  Knowledge, Experience & Skills Education * High School Diploma or GED required, plus 2 years of relevant experience. * Bachelor’s degree in Logistics Management or a related field preferred. Experience * 4 years of experience training personnel. * 4 years of supervisory experience, including exposure to union environments. * 5–7 years of warehouse, inventory control, shipping/receiving, and domestic & international logistics experience. * Preferred: ISO environment experience, safety program responsibility, and working knowledge of 5S. Other Requirements * ERP system experience (IFS preferred). * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with emphasis on Excel; Outlook proficiency required. * Demonstrated ability to multitask, maintain high energy, and take initiative. * Flexibility to adapt quickly to changing priorities. * Strong verbal and written communication skills. * Critical thinking and root-cause problem-solving ability. * Advanced ability to manage stress.   Physical/Mental Demands & Working Conditions * Standard work schedule is 40 hours per week, which may include on-call responsibilities, evenings, and/or weekends as needed.
