JOB SUMMARY

A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Restaurant & Bar Supervisor to join a dynamic management team serving traditional Scottish food and drinks at Gael & Grain, Scottish Pub & Kitchen, recently opened in Glasgow’s bustling west end. This role is all about ensuring enyoyable & memorable experiences for guests on a regular basis whilst achieving sales / profitability targets.

General responsibilities include:

• Staff training
• Staff development
• Management of bookings
• Operational leadership with a focus on team motivation and great guest experience
• Compliance with Health & Safety regulations
• Stock management inc ordering and receiving goods
• Cash-up
• Key holding
• Management of bookings

SKILLS

• Proven experience in hospitality management preferrable.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage with customers and team members.
• Ability to supervise staff effectively, demonstrating the ability to lead by example
• Competent in use of hospitality management software and tools.
