Job Posting Title Supervisor Maintenance Job Description Summary As a Supervisor Maintenanceat El Carmen Manufacturing Facility, you will be responsible for the design, development, programming, and maintenance of robotic systems to optimize our manufacturing processes and enhance production efficiency. Job Description: Responsibilities * Design, program, simulate, and test robotic applications for various manufacturing processes including assembly, welding, material handling, and packaging. * Install, calibrate, and troubleshoot industrial robots (e.g., ABB, Fanuc, KUKA, Universal Robots) and associated peripheral equipment. * Develop and implement control logic for robotic systems using PLC, HMI, and other automation software. * Conduct preventative maintenance and perform repairs on robotic systems to ensure continuous operation and minimize downtime. * Collaborate with production teams, process engineers, and other stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and integrate robotic solutions. * Perform risk assessments and implement safety protocols for robotic work cells in compliance with industry standards. * Document robotic system configurations, programming, and maintenance procedures. * Train production and maintenance personnel on the operation and basic troubleshooting of robotic systems. * Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in robotics and automation technology to propose innovative solutions. Required Skills and Education * Bachelor's degree in Robotics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field. * Proven experience (3+ years) in industrial robot programming, integration, and maintenance. * Proficiency with at least two major industrial robot brands (e.g., ABB RobotStudio, Fanuc RoboGuide, KUKA KRL, Universal Robots Polyscope). * Strong understanding of PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley) and HMI development. * Experience with vision systems, sensors, and other automation components. * Knowledge of safety standards for robotic systems (e.g., ISO 10218, ANSI/RIA R15.06). * Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
