At Fortescue, our people are everything. Guided by our values of Safety, Family, Determination and Innovation, we’re building a workplace where everyone has the chance to thrive. Every day, our teams play a vital role in powering operations that make a global impact.
We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Supervisor – Non-Process Infrastructure Operations to lead our Marine, Towage & Infrastructure team in Port Hedland.
In this role, you’ll be the driving force behind the smooth and safe delivery of essential services — from water and fire systems to building and mechanical assets — keeping our operations and people supported every day.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Trade qualified, with strong maintenance know-how.
  • A natural leader with proven experience supervising teams in industrial or infrastructure settings.
  • Safety-focused, with a solid understanding of risk management and compliance systems.
  • Organised, proactive and great at building relationships across teams and contractors.
  • SAP, BMS or similar system experience will give you an edge.
Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach and support a skilled, multidisciplinary crew (plumbers, fire mechanical techs, carpenters, fitters and contractors).
  • Oversee maintenance and compliance across critical infrastructure including plumbing, fire systems, water bores and reverse osmosis plants.
  • Manage service providers and contractors to ensure high standards of delivery.
  • Champion safety — running pre-starts, driving hazard reduction, and ensuring critical controls are always in place.
  • Keep things running smoothly — from cost allocations and reporting through to incident management and compliance data capture.
