Aga Khan University invites applications for the position of Supervisor in the Male Hostel (Off Campus). Responsibilities: You will be responsible to: assist Manager University Residences in managing all off-campus hostels efficiently and effectively provide assistance to Housemother of off-campus hostels in all administrative, safety and security keep close liaison with Housemen posted at all off-campus hostels to remain current about hostel issues conduct regular visits to off-campus hostels to ensure housemen, housekeepers and security staff is performing their duties efficiently have meetings with hostel residents of each off-campus male hostels to resolve their issues. maintain a conducive hostels' environment ensure that overall hostel premises are kept in neat and clean state ensure that housemen keep a proper record of daily activities/events and any incident in the hostel ensure maintenance and upkeep of all off-campus hostels ensure safety of students and security of off-campus hostels facilities ensure that all off-campus hostels Transport related matters conduct surprise checks to ensure that all valuable items/inventory is as per record. maintain an up-to-date record of hostel occupancy make liaison with finance department for preparing ROPs and raise PRs and MSRs. ensure that all complaints made by students are followed up with the off campus coordinators for corrective measures manage attendance. Leave records and overtime of all off-campus hostels staff liaise with Senior Coordinator that the financial statement, occupancy/vacation status and the rent dues against the hostellites is prepared on time and submitted to finance department organize and supervise social/ community events within hostel premises involving student participants perform rotation duty in On-campus hostel as and when required liaise with external agencies governmental and non-governmental with regard to off campus hostels perform any other duty / task assigned by the Manager University Residences. Requirements: You should have: At least Intermediate/graduate will be preferred 5-7 years’ working experience in an administrative position, having supervisory role in the hospital, Industry, or hostels An academic environment experience will be considered an advantage Must have a good command of computer skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Comprehensive employment reference checks will be conducted.
