Our Opportunity Location: Iron Bridge - Fortescue’s Iron Bridge project is located on the traditional lands of the Nyamal people Roster: 7D7N14R FIFO ex Perth Fortescue is seeking an experienced and motivated Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor to join our Iron Bridge Process Plant team. This role is critical in leading a team of Mechanical Fitters and Boilermakers to ensure plant reliability, safe operations, and achievement of production targets.Key Responsibilities Lead, develop, and motivate a high-performing team of mechanical tradespeople. Ensure plant availability by effectively managing breakdowns, preventative maintenance, and work plans. Oversee safety performance and compliance with statutory and company requirements. Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Operations, Engineering, Electrical teams) and external vendors to achieve operational outcomes. Deliver effective weekly plans, shutdown compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives. Drive training, development, and engagement of team members to align with business objectives. Qualifications and Experience Mechanical Trade qualification or Engineering degree (essential). Significant experience in fixed plant maintenance and supervision. Strong leadership skills with proven ability to manage teams in high-performance environments. Sound knowledge of safety systems, incident investigation, and regulatory compliance. Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Office, and computerized maintenance management systems. Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills. About Us Be part of something big.
