The Supervisor, MIP Fleet Sales & Customer Service is a customer‑facing frontline leadership role responsible for executing and sustaining Wheeler Fleet Solutions’ Managed Inventory Program (MIP) This role leads MIP Sales and Service Representatives and ensures consistent application of MIP processes, service standards, and inventory controls at the operational level. Reporting to the Manager, MIP Fleet Sales and Service, the Supervisor serves as a key point of day‑to‑day coordination with the Sales and Service team and supports operational execution, system adoption, and performance improvement initiatives. This position is accountable for driving reliable service delivery, while reinforcing disciplined processes that support market share growth, margin improvement, and scalable program performance. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Execute day‑to‑day MIP Sales and Service operations across assigned USPS/PLUS accounts in alignment with Manager‑defined priorities. Lead and coach MIP Sales and Service Representatives to ensure consistent execution, accountability, and adherence to standard MIP processes. Drive performance that supports market share growth and margin improvement through inventory accuracy, turns, obsolescence reduction, and disciplined service execution. Reinforce adoption of systems, tools, and workflows, including ERP‑related processes, to ensure data accuracy and operational consistency. Monitor key operational KPIs (service levels, inventory accuracy, sales activity, turns, and obsolescence) and communicate trends and corrective actions. Support implementation of standardized best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to improve scalability, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Partner with cross‑functional teams to resolve execution issues impacting service continuity, profitability, or customer experience. USPS Customers, Plus Customers, IT, FMIS, ERP, Market Share Correct and analyze FMIS Errors Work with IT to determine programs and processes that need updated. Support ERP implementation Reinforces adoption Supports testing and training Provides feedback from the field Manage day-to-day MIP Sales and Service Duties as needed. Support market share growth and margin improvement at assigned accounts by: Reducing customer reliance on local or non-MIP program purchases Identifying and introducing approved products and services Ensuring customers fully leverage the operational and financial benefits of the Managed Inventory Program Identify, document, and escalate quality/safety concerns and system issues to the Manager. Complete and analyze yearly USPS/Plus Customer Service Surveys Other duties as assigned MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree in Sales and Marketing from an accredited college institution and a minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience Or an additional 4 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree Up to 15% of travel to customer sites 5 years’ experience in a role to organize, multi-task, and lead people (directly or through influence) Strong communication (written and oral), presentation, interpersonal skills with experience working on teams from multiple locations 5 years’ experience managing diverse and difficult customers Ability to understand and communicate technical automotive parts and service information Strong computer skills with strong proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint, and ERP systems Autonomous and self-motivated.
