• Lead a safety-first culture through inspections, incident investigations, and compliance with statutory requirements
• Enhance safe work and efficient practices to execute the planned and unplanned maintenance workload.
• Identify and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives throughout the maintenance department.
• Promote company initiatives and uphold both personal and team operation within the core values, procedures and policies.
• Facilitate daily pre-shift meetings and discussions around site business.
• Work with Leading Hands to allocate tasks, priorities and ongoing monitor of work quality and progress.
• Identify shortfalls in skills and knowledge and escalate to Superintendent for recommendations.
• Conduct inspections and quality checks on completed work.
• Promote a high level of safety awareness, lead from the front and by example
• Liaise with Contractors and Stakeholders as required
