About the Role Working in our North Shore based mowing team, you will take a leadership role supporting our mowing and edging teams to maintain and manage a high level of presentation for our public spaces. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager you will be first point of call for any of the day-to-day issues that might arise. You will be out and about, engaging with the teams throughout the day, dropping off equipment, undertaking site audits, assisting with training and keeping appropriate reporting and communication up to date and will ensure that everything runs as smoothly as possible. If you enjoy leading a team, like sharing your knowledge and seeing a job well done, this could be the perfect role for you. Tasks and Responsibilities Leading from the front and sharing your knowledge. Daily contact with small teams across multiple sites. Mentoring and coaching staff on the job. Inspecting and maintaining our standard of work through auditing and site checks. Supervising in a hands-on environment. Working with your operations manager to drive and lead a positive safety culture. Keeping reporting and communication up to date and completed as required. About You Have some experience leading or directing others. Comfortable using Computers and Applications for reporting. Are experienced in commercial mowing and maintenance. Take pride in seeing a job done well. Have a full NZ drivers licence and comfortable driving manual vehicles.
