We are searching for a Nurse Supervisor at the TCP Medical Group Clinic - someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will supervise and direct clinical staff and to gather information, assess and provide direct care to patients. Think you’ve got what it takes? Job Duties & Responsibilities Supervises and evaluates clinical staff to ensure optimal level of job performance for the consistent delivery of safe, highquality patient care and customer service. Schedules staff based on practice need and budget. Directs clinical staff in the provision of patient care; maintaining professional nursing standards and adhering to TCP policies, procedures and recommendations Monitors and ensures patient flow through the practice Orients staff, as appropriate, and submits paperwork in accordance with TCP policies and established timeframes Assists provider, as directed, during treatments, examinations and testing within scope of position Assists in the collection of patient/family data that may include biophysical, psychosocial, developmental, cultural, and environmental information per practice protocol Engages in collaborative quality improvement efforts and utilization of current research or best practice findings in nursing practice Identify patients eligible for Vaccines for Children Program and follow procedures for accurate documentation and management for this state funded program Qualifications: Diploma in Nursing or Asociate's Degree in Nursing required Bachelor's Degree in Nursing prerferred BLS from American Heart Association required 1 year experience as a staff nurse OR 1 year experiemce as an LVN required 1 year supervisory experience preferred Texas Children’s Pediatrics is the nation’s largest primary pediatric care network with more than 200 physicians dedicated to the health care needs of infants to teenagers in over 50 locations throughout the greater Houston area.
