Annual Salary Range: $100,008 - $200,016

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Supervisor of General Accounting to join our team. Under the general direction of the Deputy General Manager of Finance & Administration, you will lead and manage a team of professional, technical, and administrative staff. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning, directing, and supervising accounting activities.
  • Performing complex accounting tasks, including debt and cash management.
  • Preparing financial statements and conducting audits.
  • Managing the District’s budget and financial analysis.
  • Ensuring compliance with GAAP and GASB standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Five years of professional accounting experience, including two years in a supervisory role.
  • Master’s degree, CPA, or CPFO can substitute for one year of experience.
  • Valid California Class C Driver’s License.
  • Ability to qualify for a fidelity bond.
