Description JOB TITLE: Supervisor of Operations DEPARTMENT: Training Position Overview The 30+ year company supports the petrochemical and manufacturing industry domestically and internationally providing training, occupational medicine, and innovative solutions to industry. The Supervisor of Operations will oversee all operations at their respective satellite location, including eLearning safety training and a wide range of occupational health testing services, including drug testing, pulmonary function testing, audiometric testing, breath alcohol testing, and respirator fit testing. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day operations and delivering high-quality service to trainees and patients. The Supervisor will lead a team of proctors and technicians to ensure location operations are running smoothly. Essential Job Responsibilities Manage and lead a team of eLearning Lab Proctors and OHS Technicians Coordinate the opening of premises daily and at other requested times Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding training and health testing services, addressing inquiries, concerns, and ensuring customer satisfaction Provide guidance, training, and ongoing development to the team to ensure high standards of training delivery, testing accuracy and efficiency, and compliance with OSHA guidelines Conduct yearly performance evaluations and foster a collaborative, team-oriented environment Manage the scheduling and logistics of eLearning training delivery and health testing to minimize extended wait times Ensure the health testing department remains compliant with local, state, and federal regulations governing drug testing, alcohol testing, respirator fit testing, and other occupational health services Conduct regular audits and inspections of equipment to ensure manufacturer standards are followed Oversee the maintenance of testing equipment and supplies, ensuring they are calibrated and in good working condition Lead the TIER (Trust, Integrity, Excellence, Respect) Culture Track inventory of supplies to ensure daily operations are running efficiently Manage the workflow of proctors and technicians to ensure all areas are running smoothly Preferred Skills & Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role Strong communication skills- written and oral Strong Customer Service Skills Proven ability to work under pressure and make effective decisions Cross-train and assist other departments and HASC locations as necessary Requirements Be able to obtain certification in relevant testing procedures Awareness of OSHA and DOT regulations specific to health testing and safety Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Knowledge of HIPAA and other privacy regulations related to patient privacy Must enjoy working with the public and have a strong initiative to work independently Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and learn detailed procedures Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to read, talk or hear.
