OPEN POSITION: Position: Patient Access Supervisor Department: Patient Access Location: Deckerville, MI Hours: Full-Time. Days. Full Benefits. Aspire Rural Health Systems is seeking a full-time Supervisor of Patient Access to work in our Patient Access department. We are looking for those with a great attitude to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals who are constantly striving to provide our patients with the highest quality of services. REQUIREMENTS: * Previous registration/customer service/scheduling experience in a healthcare facility preferred. * Medical terminology and basic mathematical skills required. * Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word. * Excellent communication skills both oral and written. * High school diploma or equivalent. Responsibilities: Responsible for leading and supervising Patient Access staff who are responsible for registering outpatient services, admissions and emergency department visits. Ensure accurate demographic, insurance, and physician information is obtained. Ensure staff are asking for upfront payments from patients with estimates created. Review registration accuracy data to ensure staff are trained properly. Produce monthly statistical reports and review for any trends.
