The Position: The String Inverter Repair Center Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations of the String Inverter Repair Center and reports to the Manager of Training and Repair Center, ensuring efficient repair workflow, high-quality standards, and on-time turnaround of repaired units. This role leads and supports repair technicians, coordinates cross-functionally with service, quality, logistics, and engineering teams, and ensures compliance with safety, quality, and company repair policies. The Supervisor plays a key role in driving continuous improvement, technician development, and customer satisfaction through effective repair center management.  Responsibilities: * Supervise daily operations of the String Inverter Repair Center, ensuring repair activities meet quality, safety, and productivity targets.  * Manage and support a team of repair technicians, including task assignment, workload balancing, training, and performance coaching.  * Ensure accurate diagnosis, repair, testing, and documentation of string inverters according to Sungrow repair standards.  * Monitor repair KPIs such as turnaround time (TAT), repair yield, backlog, and repeat repair rates.  * Coordinate with Service, Technical Support, Quality, Engineering, and Logistics teams to resolve complex repair cases and material issues.  * Ensure all repair records, test results, and parts usage are properly documented in internal systems.  * Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize repair processes, reduce failure recurrence, and improve efficiency.  * Enforce EHS (Environmental, Health & Safety) requirements and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.  * Support root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective action implementation for recurring or critical product issues.  * Assist with inventory control of repair parts, tools, and equipment in collaboration with supply chain teams.  Education or Desired Licenses and Certificates: * Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Renewable Energy, or a related technical field, or equivalent hands-on experience.  * Minimum of 5 years of experience in inverter repair, power electronics, or related technical service roles.  * At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or team-lead role is preferred.  * Experience with string inverters, PV systems, or ESS products is strongly preferred.  Competencies * Strong technical background in power electronics and inverter systems.  * Proven leadership and team management skills in a repair or service environment.  * Highly organized, detail-oriented, and process-driven mindset.  * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.  * Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, international organization.  * Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis capabilities.  * Comfortable working with repair KPIs, reporting, and continuous improvement metrics.  Travel: * Upwards of 10%  Work Location and Status: * Full time, On-site in Houston TX  Compensation: * Compensation commensurate with experience * Competitive benefits package and employee programs * Strong personal and company growth opportunities   For candidates in the states of California, Colorado, New York and Washington, the anticipated annual base salary for this role is between $70,000 - $95,000 This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The base salary offered is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, qualifications, experience, education, location, or other factors related to the role.
