Finding better ways™ to provide the materials the world needs.
We are looking for an Operations Centre Supervisor to identify full potential and improvement opportunities across the business. This role covers vacation relief and acts as a ‘floater;’ there is no designated shift, so flexibility is required.
This is a great opportunity to lead projects and manage change — including cultural transformation, strategic change, and the implementation of a continuous improvement mindset, to enhance the organization’s efficiency and performance. The Supervisor provides operational leaders with optimized plans that reflect real constraints, identify risks and opportunities, and ensure clear, timely communication with the appropriate level of detail to support effective execution.
Leading on the frontline is one of the most important jobs in our business and comes with a huge amount of responsibility. We need you to motivate, inspire and keep

But we can’t do it on our own, so we’re focused on creating partnerships to solve problems, create win-win and meet opportunities.
At Rio Tinto, we particularly welcome and encourage applications from Indigenous Peoples, women, the LGBTQIA+ community, mature workers, people with disabilities, and people from different cultural backgrounds.

We are committed to an inclusive environment where people feel comfortable being themselves. We want our people to feel that all voices are heard, all cultures respected and that a variety of perspectives are not only welcome – they are essential to our success. We treat each other fairly and with dignity regardless of race, gender, nationality, ethnic origin, religion, age, sexual orientation, or anything else that makes us who we are.
Where can Rio Tinto take you?
You’re passionate and ambitious with tremendous career aspirations. The breadth and growth of our organisation empowers you to define your ideal career path.
