Years of Related Professional Experience: 2-3 years

Educational Position Requirements: A formal education and subsequent undergraduate/graduate degrees are nice to have, but we are most interested in your total experience and professional achievements.

  • Help provide clear and effective communications to all Associates, Leads, Assistant Shift Managers, and Shift Managers
  • Maintain a positive attitude within Operations
  • Ensure all associates are trained on the operational area processes
  • Ensure all operation area functions are conducted in a manner that promotes the highest level of accuracy and quality
  • Help ensure the accurate completion and shipping of all customer orders
  • Enforce company policy and coach for improvement whenever necessary
  • Ensure OSHA regulations are followed and to maintain a clean, safe organized work area
  • Take ownership in the success of the overall operation
  • Get a clear understanding of the day-to-day objectives from the Assistant Shift Manager or Shift Manager and drive their Leads and associates to accomplish them
  • Set goals that will meet or exceed set objectives
  • Meet with the Leads and team to communicate the goals (Daily/Weekly)
  • Maintain and record associate’s attendance in their operation area
  • Mentor leads to become effective leaders preparing them for the next level
  • Support the Coaching/Training of all associates in their operation area
  • Continuously check all scripts pertaining to their department and make the necessary adjustments
  • Ensure that all equipment is assigned, returned, and accounted for
  • Check email/respond to emails timely
  • Managing associates based on workflow
  • Manage on standard/off standard time for all associates in their operation area
  • Check numbers throughout the day identifying low performer and working with trainers and leads to improve them
  • Handle attendance issues

WHAT WE EXPECT YOU ALREADY KNOW:

Experience overseeing the processing and performances of the day-to-day activities in all operational areas of Receiving/Backwall/Replenishment/Picking/Packing/Shipping. Also, the Supervisor will maintain a safe work environment in supporting the day-to-day operations of these areas as well as within the Fort Worth Distribution Center.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

This position leads and supervises all associates in their respective operation area within the entire building for Williamson-Dickie Manufacturing Company during their shift. This person will be required to be visible and vocal in all departments. Strong communication between this position and with other departments of their shifts and the Supervisors and Leads will be required.

HOW YOU WILL DO IT:

Floor time in your department with all associates is critical. This person will be responsible for delegating responsibilities out to the appropriate associates and will fill in when needed in any operation.
