If selected, you will be employed directly by the client—not Kaleidoscope, the VA, or the federal government. This role supports a Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) federal contract. You will work alongside VA teams to help deliver services that support veterans and the VA’s mission. About the Role You will oversee day-to-day ground transportation, valet, and parking operations across the facility campus. You will provide direct leadership to frontline personnel—including drivers, attendants, and dispatchers—ensuring strict adherence to safety standards, efficient vehicle flow, exceptional veteran customer service, and full compliance with contract and VA regulations. Key Responsibilities Supervise, coach, and coordinate daily schedules and task assignments for valet runners, booth attendants, shuttle drivers, and dispatchers. Monitor transit paths, valet staging zones, and parking lots to manage traffic flow, eliminate congestion, and ensure pedestrian safety. Serve as the primary point of contact for escalating passenger inquiries, operational bottlenecks, vehicle incidents, or facility concerns. Audit operational logs, key tracking systems, incident reports, and safety inspection checklists daily to ensure strict administrative compliance. Train staff on safety regulations, facility protocols, emergency response guidelines, and professional conduct expectations. Conduct routine on-site evaluations of equipment, transport carts, and booth facilities, reporting any necessary maintenance or safety hazards to project management. Qualifications & Skills Active California Class C Driver’s License (Class B commercial license is a plus). Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major recent violations. Minimum of 2–3 years of supervisory or team-lead experience within parking management, valet operations, hospitality, or fleet logistics. Strong leadership capabilities, active conflict resolution skills, and intermediate proficiency with computer databases or tracking software. High attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to maintain staff accountability in a compliance-driven environment. Contract Details This position supports a federal nonpersonal services contract with the VA. The anticipated contract term includes one base year with up to two optional renewal years, subject to funding, performance, and government needs. As part of the federal approval process, the VA may review resumes and may request interviews. Final placement and start date are contingent upon VA approval. While Kaleidoscope Supply Services manages the staffing process, the employer of record will be the client company supporting the VA contract. Compensation Hourly pay: you are paid only for hours worked. No paid holidays (holiday pay is not reimbursed by the government for this role). No paid time off (PTO) is included. Overtime is not permitted unless pre-approved by both the client and the VA. This compensation structure is standard for federal nonpersonal services contract positions. Benefits This type of federal contract does not include government-funded benefits. In alignment with contract requirements and standard industry practices: Medical, dental, and vision insurance are not included Retirement plans are not included No employer sponsored benefits are offered for this position Employment Requirements Employment is contingent upon successful completion of required background checks, drug and alcohol screening, and onboarding or training. Personnel must comply with VA workplace conduct and appearance standards.
