Description The Supervisor, Parks and Events oversees daily maintenance and event operations across Center City District’s signature parks, Dilworth, Cret, Sister Cities, and John F. Collins Parks, and public spaces. This position works closely with the Senior Manager and Director, working with outside organizations to ensure that the events expectations are met and set and break down of events are organized. Hours for this position may flex to meet the needs of events in our managed parks. This hands-on role involves supervising staff, coordinating contractors, and ensuring all sites are clean, safe, and welcoming. The position requires fieldwork, flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, and strong leadership and technical skills in a fast-paced, public-facing environment. Requirements Interested candidates should have the following: Experience in facility maintenance and event management, or experience within the performing arts or hospitality industries. Valid Driver’s licensure from state of residence with a minimum of 3 years clean driving record. High school diploma or equivalent required, advanced education preferred. Relevant certifications or training may be considered in place of a degree. Excellent customer service skills. Excellent communication skills. Supervisory and communication skills with prior supervisory experience. Experience in maintenance, equipment operation, and safety protocols. Experience in event coordination and logistics. Ability to prepare reports and manage budgets. Customer service focused with strong public interaction skills. Able to work independently, in teams, and in varied weather conditions.
