POSITION: SUPERVISOR OF PATIENT FINANCIAL SERVICES DEPARTMENT: PFS REFUNDS AND CREDITS SHIFT: 8A-4:30P STATUS: FULL TIME / 80 HOURS EVERY TWO WEEKS FACILITY: OFFICE IS IN MORAINE, OH The Supervisor Patient Financial Services (PFS) will be responsible for ensuring timely billing and collections and optimal reimbursement from third party payers and patients. The Supervisor PFS must establish management controls and tracking tools to monitor assignments, tasks, and performance standards. The Supervisor must develop and maintain written policies and procedures to support the functions of the department. The Supervisor will provide supervision of clinical trial research billing and follow-up processes (if applicable to job duties). In addition, the Supervisor must maintain and enhance the regulatory review processes to ensure services billed meet regulatory requirements as well as oversee the development and preparation of financial, statistical, and management reports. Education Minimum Level of Education Required: High School completion / GED Additional requirements: Type of degree: Associates preferred Preferred educational qualifications: Associates preferred Experience Minimum Level of Experience Required: 3 - 5 years of job related experience Knowledge/Skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skill • Proven leadership abilities and advanced interpersonal skills are necessary in order to provide effective leadership to assigned staff, and to maintain effective communications with a variety of internal and external customers. • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential • Must be able to multi-task a variety of responsibilities. • Understanding of patient accounts procedures and analytical capability required. • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and accounting systems.Enter other experience requirement or N/A
