Overview The Supervisor, Patient Services supervises all aspects of Clinical Assistant performance, intentionally conducts regular meetings with staff to foster active employee engagement, to encourage professional development and to problem solve matters based on individual circumstances. Provides unit leadership, consistently applies unit standards and policies, and works collaboratively with other members of the NBU to ensure successful program implementation. Responsibilities 1. Provide assigned unit coverage to ensure leadership presence and availability; facilitate and make operational decisions; and provide oversight and in-the-moment encouragement and feedback on protocol implementation, data collection, and staff performance.2. Regularly conduct meetings with assigned staff to act as a resource to them; answer questions; identify professional development goals; foster employee engagement; and provide encouragement, coaching and performance feedback. 3. Organize and direct staff and resources to ensure safe patient/unit management and adherence to the protocols and policies intended to meet individual, social, and recreational needs of the patients.4. Train and evaluate staff to promote a high quality of patient services.5. Ensure appropriate levels of staffing by overseeing the implementation of on-call and staffing policies.6. Resolve staff concerns and unit issues in a timely, constructive manner, ensuring clear communication and accurate implementation of safety, protocol, and staffing exceptions in consultation with Faculty or Managerial on-call support7. Assist in the development of unit training, policies, and procedures.8. Share in rotation of 24-hour on-call support for resolving direct care, staffing, and other unit-related issues.9. Preview and approve proposed behavioral protocol changes for dissemination to staff.10. Participate in interdisciplinary consultations and planning meetings.11. May represent unit in first-line interaction with parents and visitors to problem solve and address questions and concerns.12. Provide direct patient care as needed including the review and implementation of behavioral protocols and following data collection procedures. Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS:• Completion of Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) coursework is required. • RBT or BCBA certification preferred • Must possess and maintain cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification within 90 days of hire.• Must maintain up-to-date status in Behavior Management training and other company-provided in-service topics required by and according to the timeline established by the department. EDUCATION:• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, special education or allied discipline required.• Master’s degree preferred EXPERIENCE:• Minimum one year of experience with the implementation of treatment programs for individuals with developmental disabilities and behavior disorders is required. • Experience with the design of such programs and experience with child and adolescent populations is preferred.• Experience with and basic knowledge and understanding of Applied Behavioral Analysis principles required. • Previous leadership experience is required. Professional experience with staff supervision is strongly preferred. Minimum pay range USD $50,148.80/Yr. Maximum pay range USD $85,998.22/Yr.
