We are looking for skilled Supervisor’s to join Pilbara Mine Operations to lead, coach and develop a team of Fixed Plant Shutdown personnel whilst working closely with key stakeholders to safely execute fixed plant shutdown activities at a site level.

Reporting to the Superintendent Plant Shutdown and working in a challenging and exciting environment, you will:

  • Be an inspiring role model and coach for positive behaviours, practices and processes, whilst providing leadership, development and support to your team
  • Actively foster and communicate a positive safety culture to promote safety awareness and compliance, encouraging prioritisation of safety in all activities and operations
  • Organise and manage the preparation and execution of Fixed Plant Shutdown work in compliance to the Rio Tinto Shutdown Procedure
  • Be responsible for Fixed Plant Shutdown training, safety compliance, scheduling and productivity
  • Manage Fixed Plant Shutdown activities to maximise productivity while minimising cost and environmental impact
  • Define staffing and development needs of Fixed Plant Shutdown
  • Liaise with key stakeholders to ensure minimal disruption to operations while maintenance and improvements are being performed
