We provide customers leading edge support from protype to production.  SUMMARY OF POSITION:  Responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of departmental workers. * Schedule functional areas to achieve optimal usage on machines. * Inspect products to verify conformance to specifications. * Direct setup and adjustment of machines * Study production schedules and estimate worker hour requirements for completion of job assignments. * Interpret company policies to workers and enforce safety regulations. * Interpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders to workers and assign duties. * Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product. * Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase the efficiency of shop, department, or work crew. * Maintain time and production records. * Estimate, requisition, and inspect materials. Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree in Machine Tool Technologies or equivalent work experience * 8-10 years of work-related experience  * 3-5 years of trade school, vocational education, or four years of formal apprenticeship (or equivalent combination of education and experience) * Comprehensive knowledge of theoretical and practical aspects of blueprint reading, GD&T * Extensive knowledge of accepted inspection practices. * Extensive knowledge of CNC programming. * Demonstrated ability at operating computer numerical control machines. * Ability to read blueprints to ensure accuracy in part making. * Ability to speak basic English language.
