Description Job Summary The Production Supervisor is responsible for all production employees ; activities. The Production Supervisor will work with the Production Leads to forecast labor needs, and hire/train labor as necessary for business needs. Essential duties and responsibilities are described below. Other duties may be assigned. REQUIRED COMPETENCIES Transloading operations that are meeting the desired productivity rates. Monitor daily production numbers- form all aspects of the responsible areas. Monitor all maintenance needs including daily/weekly/monthly PMs. Ensure company PPE requirements are being followed. Review and/or approve employee hours weekly. Review, audit, and enforce production procedures. Conduct annual physical inventories with customers as they require. Give warehouse or department tours to customers, as necessary. Work with Production Scheduling and Crew Leads to increase or reduce labor force as driven by market. Assist with research of non-conformities as necessary in working with the quality department. Ensures proper training for all new employees on all relevant job duties. Meet and greet ALL new hires. Maintain warehouse integrity and maximum space efficiency by enforcing proper material put away. Maintains, updates, and enforces all Operational Procedures. Conducts monthly safety and procedure training. Work with Quality on the customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement for the mitigation of the issues. Requirements Responsibilities Daily review of the rail reports to plan out necessary shifts. Schedule&s packaging crews according to volume needs. Work with Customer Service team to determine railcar/packaging priorities based on railcar FIFO, needed cutoffs, and customer requirements. Work with different departmental team to determine packaging priorities based on cutoffs and customer requirements. Conduct monthly housekeeping report. Review forklift inspections weekly. Maintain forklift driver certifications. Packaging and handling of the products process and procedures updated and maintained.

Responsibilities

The Production Supervisor oversees all production employees and activities, ensuring productivity and compliance with safety standards. They work closely with Production Leads to manage labor needs and enforce operational procedures.
