Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

You will lead and oversee implementation and migration of Microsoft Identity and Messaging solutions, including Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, Entra ID, Google to Microsoft, and Microsoft Tenant to Tenant migrations. This role involves collaborating with customers to understand their business needs and technical requirements, and then designing tailored identity and messaging solutions. You will be responsible for defining and improving upon identity and messaging methodologies and leverage your team to build supporting artifacts and enable team members to thrive in migration delivery. You will coach your team members to the standards you define in pursuit of efficiency of execution.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Manage a small team of direct reports holding them accountable to annual goals
  • Define and improve upon identity and messaging methodologies
  • Coach immediate reports as well as additional team members to standards of team practices
  • Conduct detailed discovery and assessments of current environments
  • Develop comprehensive implementation and migration strategies, and implement best practices for identity and messaging architecture
  • Ensure the security, scalability, and cost-effectiveness of the solutions.
  • Provide strategic guidance and hands-on technical support to facilitate seamless transitions and optimize identity and messaging deployments
  • Assume technical leader role during design and implementation of technology solutions, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Mentor team members in identity and messaging practices
  • Document processes, including configuration, issues encountered, and solutions implemented
  • Provide regular proactive reports on the progress of projects to project managers, project team, and customers
  • Responsiveness and leadership in Practice Improvement initiatives such as developing and maintaining automation scripts to streamline the process
  • Timely timesheet submission and detailed work notes
  • Inspection of team member timesheet submission
