Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are currently seeking a Patient Support Services Supervisor to join our team and play a key role in the day-to-day supervision of Patient Support Services Assistants (PSSAs) across the Royal Adelaide Hospital facility. You’ll be integral to delivering high-quality support services that contribute to patient wellbeing and operational excellence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leading and supporting a team of 75+ PSSAs, ensuring high performance, safety compliance, and service delivery
  • Managing daily rosters and shift allocations in line with service peaks and enterprise agreement conditions
  • Overseeing all PSS activities such as cleaning, transport, and support tasks to meet contract standards
  • Acting as a first-line contact for internal and external stakeholders including hospital staff, patients, and contractors
