SUMMARY STATEMENT:

The Housekeeping Quality Assurance Supervisor is responsible for maintaining the design and beauty of Resorts World Las Vegas by overseeing quality control processes within the housekeeping department pertaining to overall productivity and cleanliness.
Job Duties:

Primary Job Duties: – Includes but is not limited to:

  • Spend up to 80% of the shift on the floor, interacting with Team Members and Hotel guests, providing coaching to Guest Room Attendants and Utility Houseperson on techniques by completing written documentation.
  • Complete a minimum of 40 guest room inspections per day, as well as conduct visual inspections of guest corridors and all relevant areas.
  • Monitor overall productivity in the Hotel Tower and act as a liaison with supporting departments to ensure that assigned areas do not fall below departmental standards.
  • Support housekeeping managers with daily duties, which include, but not limited to room quality control, guest requests, daily pass downs, conducting Team Updates, overseeing special projects, and maintaining equipment and supplies necessary to support the operation.
  • Document and resolve issues with discrepant rooms with the Front Desk.
  • Prepare, distribute, and communicate changes in assignment sheets/workboards.
  • Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating and coaching employees.
  • Conducts audits/inspections.
  • Interviews, trains, spot-checks, praises, coaches, counsels, and disciplines in accordance with Resorts World Las Vegas Standards.
  • Use personal device/cellular phone for job related operational tasks, job duties, review of company documents, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Qualifications: Includes but is not limited to:

  • Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be detail oriented and effectively read, write, and speak English.

Preferred:

  • Previous experience working in a large, luxury resort setting, preferably in a four/five-star environment.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • At least 21 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum one year experience in the Housekeeping field.

Certificates, Licenses, Regulations:

  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
