Responsibilities: Reporting to the supervisor, you will be responsible to protect life and property by providing safety and security cover and assistance to all the patients, visitors and employees of the hospital within your assigned areas of duty. You will also perform duty as a key man and initiate and assist in carrying out minor investigations, as and when required. Specifically, you will be responsible to: supervise all guards in your area of responsibility and ensure that the staff effectively carry out their duties carry out periodic checks of the security guards on duty to ensure alertness and vigilance assess security needs and control employee and visitor access to premises and ensure authorized entry only provide security assistance to the staff, students, visitors and patients etc. assist and escort police and law enforcement personnel within AKU Outreach premises when needed by the department perform any security duty assigned by the supervisor carry out investigation of incidents which take place as per needs and conduct CCTV monitoring, security surveillance, and recording of the premisesas required handle relevant correspondence over emails and calls, and operate various type of road blockers / barriers. Requirements: You should have: at least Matriculation, while having completed Intermediate or Bachelor’s degree will be preferred at least two years of relevant experience, preferably in Armed Forces strong security management skills and intelligence, while having experience and service with SSG & Intelligence units will be a definite advantage strong supervisory skills and ability to handle security investigations excellent interpersonal skills, particularly communication skills willingness to work in shifts Comprehensive employment reference checks will be conducted.
