JOB DESCRIPTION

  • The Supervisor, Sales Support (SSS) is responsible for effectively leading & coaching a team of a minimum of 6 Account Coordinators, ensuring that we are consistently delivering an excellent customer experience for both our internal and external customers. Working closely with the Sales leaders, the SSS is responsible for driving efficiencies & helping to build effective business processes. The SSS provides leadership, training & development of the team, whilst ensuring the corporate goals are met.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 3 years working in customer service, account support or sales. Ability to manage, motivate and lead a team.
  • Office or auction site environment
  • Travel approximately 4/5 times a year for meetings and/or to attend auctions within region

Responsibilities
  • Develops team and individual contributor metrics and KPIs to align with the department and corporate goals and promote a positive team culture that enables change. Conducts regular team meetings to cascade and discuss objectives and execution plans.
  • Manages the performance of the team including recruitment, training, coaching, planning, appraising and monitoring member contribution.
  • Liaises with RSMs, Sales Directors, VPs and TMs to ensure well-coordinated regional activity including promotions and product launches and collaborates with all sales leaders to drive revenue.
  • Solicits regular feedback from RSMs & Sales Directors and proactively resolves any issues as needed.
  • In the absence of a dedicated Coordinator, supports TMs as their single point of contact within the consignment to cash process, across all selling platforms.
  • Provides guidance & solutions to team members when an asset/customer issue is escalated to them.
  • Solicits feedback from RSMs on any issues within the TM/SAM & Coordinator working relationship & resolves as needed
  • Assesses current business processes and identifies where changes could result in financial and operational efficiencies. Presents suggested changes to Manager, Sales Support for further analysis & consideration.
  • Flexible and willing to perform other tasks as assigned
